Continuing to Grow Our Team and Services
Over the past several years, Omega has expanded both our team and the services we provide based on the needs we see from our clients.
Today, Omega Advisory Solutions focuses on three primary areas: Accounting & Advisory, Tax Credits & Incentives, and IRS Solutions & Tax Controversy.
Accounting & Advisory
Our Accounting & Advisory team works with businesses on their ongoing accounting and financial needs, from maintaining accurate financials and reporting to providing more strategic support as companies grow.
The goal is to give business owners reliable financial information and a team they can turn to when questions or decisions come up.
Tax Credits & Incentives
Our Tax Credits & Incentives team works with businesses to identify and pursue tax-saving opportunities available to them.
Our work includes the R&D Tax Credit, FICA Tip Credit, and Cost Segregation, along with other incentives that may be available based on a company’s industry and operations.
This has become an important part of our work, particularly as we continue to work with businesses across industries that may qualify for incentives they aren’t currently utilizing.
IRS Solutions & Tax Controversy
Our IRS Solutions & Tax Controversy team represents businesses and individuals dealing with IRS issues ranging from notices and audits to more complex collections and enforcement matters.
A significant part of our work involves IRS collections, including cases involving outstanding individual and business tax liabilities. Our team works directly with the IRS on behalf of clients to address collection activity, evaluate resolution options and determine the appropriate strategy based on the circumstances.
We also handle Trust Fund Recovery Penalty matters, which can arise when a business has unpaid payroll taxes and the IRS seeks to hold an owner, officer or other responsible individual personally liable for certain unpaid trust fund taxes.
In addition to collections and Trust Fund Recovery matters, our team assists with IRS examinations and audits, appeals, penalty abatement, notice responses and other tax controversy matters.
What’s Next for Omega
Moving into the new office gives us the space to continue adding to our team and expanding these areas of the business.
Our focus is to continue doing what has driven our growth so far: taking care of our clients, being responsive when issues come up, and building a team with expertise across different areas of accounting, tax and advisory.
